Until I write this essay, I still didn’t know the best way to write English. However there are several ways and tips to improve writing skills.
First is by reading more articles, text or books. By increasing your reading habit, it can help you build your vocabulary unconsciously. Various ranges of vocabularies are essential for your writing. Hence your writing won’t bore the reader because of variation words and sentences.
Secondly, my teacher said to me that practice is way more effective to improve our writing skills. No matter how good English you are if you never practice your writing you wouldn’t be improve your skills. Furthermore, it is important to maintain our motivation for practicing. As time flies, you would find bore, laziness and tired doing this. So next tip is finding your study friends would help this matter. By having study friends and creating study group would keep your motivation remains constant.
Another way to increase your writing skills is find a teacher. Some students taking writing course for needing of mentorship in their writing. They need other people to do correction for their writing. Finding their mistakes and get feedback of their writing. And do not forget to learn and put your grammar in your writing. Like Bahasa Indonesia, English has also grammar that cannot be ignored.
