My name is Ika Rahmawati. I graduated from Geophysical Major in MIPA UGM. I studied in SMAN 1 Yogyakarta before I continued my study in UGM. Actually I have a little bit of experience in write English. In senior high school I wrote a research report about “The Effect of Mercury Substance in Mussels at Pangandaran Beach, West Java”. There were four students in my group. After we took what we needed in the field, a kilogram of mussels, we have to analyze what substances that contained in the mussels. From the laboratorium result, we could conclude how dangerous the mussels if that became materias consumption. 
Nowadays, to increase my English ability, I followed short courses that holded by my student organization who invited guest speaker from aboard company. Otherwise, about a month ago I followed a TOEFL course. In every Saturday in my TOEFL course we had a conversation with native speaker from Mexico and Africa. After I finished my course, I made a group in whatsapp that we can chat and share about our activities everyday. And then to make it habbit, when I meet them, we speak in English. Beside that, I watch western film that have subtitle in English. I think thats all my effort to increase my English ability.
